London’s star power was seriously ramped up a few notches last night
when Beyonce and her mum Tina Knowles visited town to launch their House
of Dereon collection at
Selfridges.
The line, which the duo have been running since 2004 has only been
available in the states until now, but was launched exclusively at
Selfridges last night.
House of Dereon is named after Beyonce's grandmother (Tina's mum)
Agnes Dereon, who was a seamstress in Louisianna. Of course,
Tina Knowles used to design the tour costumes for
Destiny's Child (which might go some way to explaining how
Beyonce
always got the fiercest looks), and the House of Dereon collections are
no less showstopping than these outfits: think feathers, sequins and,
for S/S '12 some intense exotic prints.
Peep More Pictures Below.
All my London readers are you excited for the arrival of House of Dereon?
